CN9-A Centurion, 1 AC/10 w/ 2 t ammo, 2 SRM-6 w/ 2 t ammo, 2 medium lasers, 200 standard engine, 10 double heat sinks, endo steel, 320 armor. Super optimized cheezier than kraft build.

Towards the end I bought a D Centurion and made it the same thing so I could drop again after crashes without having to wait for my mech to be out of game.

Wondering what everyone else brought.

How is that a super optimized cheese build? It looks like a plain bad Centurion build to me. Maybe I'm missing something, but aren't slow centurions just cannon fodder? Especially with no range?

Worked pretty good for me. AC/10 is underrated.

I don't believe how much damage I can put out with this thing. I built it as a joke just to try out MGs and immediately scored 700+ damage in a match. Played a few more to check if it was a fluke and rarely drop below 500 damage dealt on a win (no accounting for losses where it ends up me vs 5-6 other mechs because my team folded). It's absolutely hilarious to open up a mech with the AC20 from behind, rob them of all their weapons in that section with the MGs while the AC20 cools down, and either run away giggling because they've been stripped of anything useful or open up another section with the next shot until they decide to chase me off.

I still consider it a troll build, but the damage numbers are too consistent for me to not love this thing.

Assault Class: "Hell Bovine" Stalker
Heavy Class: "Short Change Hero" Catapult
Medium Class: "Half-Squat" Cicada
Light Class: Syllogy's Take on the Standard Raven

Ranking: 14th Over All out of 7573 Combatants.

There were a few matches where I just dropped a few others, but these are the 4 that got me on the boards.

I ran around grinding XP on my new hunchie SP.

5xMPLS, 2xLRM5. 230 standard engine.

Didn't play that much, but got 29/20 win rate and a not so respectable 270th-ish place in the medium ladder with a clean mech. Interestingly enough, that build actually seems to work :-)

I ran a Jenner-D
xl245, 4 mpl, 2 srm-4s
Managed to get up to 17th or so on the light board with it. Then realized that I'd played about 50 or so games in a row and decided it wasn't how I wanted to spend the rest of my weekend. Was fun while it lasted though.

I had to run troll builds because Iag spikes. I would just teleport around and pressing 'R', zoom, thermal, any key or firing was delayed randomly..

Ghogiel - had some problems with lag sometimes. It was pretty frustrating shooting a weapon and then seeing it veer off in some crazy angle from where I was aiming three seconds after I told it to shoot.

I really like my Centurion. I played in it because I wanted to see how good I could do in a generalist, non-cheese build. Pretty good, it turned out.

Centurion A: 2 MLAs, 3 SRM 4 (or was it 6?) w/ artemis, max standard engine

Hunchback 4G (founders): 3 MLAS, 1 AC/20 w/ 4 tons of ammo, standard engine, runs 72 or something

Trebuchet 5N: Dual ERPPC, Dual SSRM 2, XL 300 engine

Those mechs got me up to rank 28 at the end of Friday (or, rather, the early morning of Saturday), and would have carried me onward had I not had my brian melted.

Founders Jenner (Jenner D) and my painted Jenner D, originally 2 med laser, TAG, 2 SRM 4, 295xl engine, switched to 4 med laser, 2 srm4, 295xl engine once I learned TAG was screwing me in the rankings.

Trying out TAG + 3 med + 2SRM build now.

I also am a big fan of AC10s. I wasn't saying anything negative about the loadout, except the fact that it's a slow medium brawler. Those are like candy in my stalker.

Stalkers
5M:
4PPC's - standard 280 - 21 DHS

or
4N:
3 LRM20 + artemis, 2SSRM,TAG, 4 small lasers - XL 265 - 11 DHS,

managed 6th place on the assault board .. a shame I went to sleep twice during the weekend -.-

PowCow and Rainmaker performed quite well though - monochrome titans of terror if u will XD

found stalkers to be incredibly easy to kill. they can't turn for crap. you stay behind the back left or back right corner and just moonwalk and adjust for their movements and take them out from behind.
